Rancher and pie chef Emily O'Brien with sister and meringue expert Jane O'Brien

In 2002, Emily entered two pies in the New Mexico State Fair.  For the first time, she did her forms as cutouts with rabbits on the apple pie on top and a frog on the peach pie.   The apple won second prize.
