Corn is our most used grain.   However, we least cost grains to provide our customers with the best performance.   Grains are steam flaked processed to allow maximum utilization of the starches, proteins and other nutrients.  With the cost of corn today we pay extremely close attention to grain processing to ensure that we are getting as must energy out of the corn as possible.  We are feeding Sweet Bran, DDG’s, Chopped Hay, Dry Supplement and Tallow Blend.

The rations from the starter to the finisher are formulated by our consulting nutritionist Steve Bachman.  Bachman also helps administrate the feeding of the cattle through frequent visits and phone calls.   Daily supervision of the feeding of the cattle is handled directly by  the bunk reader and mill manager.   The cattle are fed three times per day.   We utilize the “program feeding” philosophy which involves controlled, deliberate, consumption patterns which help keep the cattle on the aggressive edge of performance.   Our highly trained feed truck drivers have the latest in technology at their fingertips thus allowing for the highest degree of accuracy.
